1853 White Mountain Highway (Rte 16), Chocorua, NH 03817

 

LOCATION

From Boston to Chocorua, New Hampshire:

Duration: approx. 2  hrs. (110 miles)

Follow route 1 North out of Boston and then join I95 North in the direction of Portsmouth. Just before Portsmouth, I95 will fork and Route 16 (signposted White Mountains) will be shown as the left fork.  Follow route 16 north  in the direction of Conway (appr. 1.5 hrs). Route 16 becomes White Mountain Highway. Just after Tamworth you will come to Chocorua village. Keep going past Chocorua Lake on the left and the Patchwork House on the right.  Monkey-Trunks is on the left hand side of route 16 opposite the Mad Planter garden centre and can be easily identified by the big green banner saying: Monkey-Trunks.

From the White Mountains and Canada

Duration : approx 20 minutes from N. Conway (11 miles)

Take route 302 to route 16, direction of N. Conway, Follow route 16 through Conway. Keep south on route 16 (White Mountain Highway). In approx 8 miles you will see the World Fellowship centre on the left. Monkey-Trunks is on the right after the Tamworth town sign and opposite the Mad Planter garden centre.
